How is my order shipped?
Chick Boss needs up to 5 business days to process your order. All domestic orders are shipped via UPS ground 1-2 business days after the order has been placed. Cost is determined by weight of package and location of destination. Chick Boss will ship to multiple addresses, but please note that extra shipping costs will be added. Any shipments sent to P.O. Boxes will be shipped via USPS, as UPS will not complete P.O. Box shipments.
All international orders are shipped via USPS 1-2 business days after the order has been placed. We charge a $40 flat rate for all international shipments. ANY CUSTOMS FEES, DUTIES, ETC ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PURCHASER.
What are the payment options?
Chick Boss customers may pay with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or through PayPal.
What is the policy on returns and exchanges?
Chick Boss products are made by hand and include materials that can vary in color, size and texture. No two products will be exactly alike.
If you are not totally satisfied with your purchase from the Chick Boss LLC website, return it within 30 days for a full refund. Chick Boss will replace damaged products purchased from our website if returned within 90 days of purchase.
Unfortunately, we are not able to accept returns for merchandise purchased from one of our retailers. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges and shipping costs are nonrefundable. Send request for return or exchange to info@chickboss.com in order to receive an Authorization Number. We will not accept any packages without this number. All returns and exchanges should be sent to 5901 Christie Ave., #201, Emeryville, CA 94608. We do not accept responsibility for lost packages, thus we recommend you send it with a tracking number to ensure delivery. ALL SALES MERCHANDISE IS FINAL SALE – NO EXCEPTIONS.
Are there any health concerns about the magnets used in the Chick Boss patent pending connection system?
Magnetic jewelry should not be worn by people with pacemakers, or pumps. As the influence of the magnetic field produced by magnetic materials on humans is not very well known, pregnant women should first seek the advice of their physician.
Is there a non-magnetic clasp option?
We are happy to replace our magnet clasps for hooks for customers who are unable to wear magnets for medical reasons. Add a note with special instructions to your order and allow extra time for delivery.
Is it possible to get clip on earrings instead of pierced?
We are happy to replace pierced earring findings with clip ons. Add a note with special instructions to your order and allow extra time for your order to ship.
How should I care for my Chick Boss Jewelry?
Chick Boss Impressions should not be twisted or bent as they may break. Silver used in Chick Boss custom caps and magnets are made with 99.9% fine silver and will not tarnish. Copper naturally tarnishes when exposed to the air. We happen to like the oxidized, “antiqued” look. If, however, you want the copper to be shiny, we recommend using a tarnish removal cloth or a liquid tarnish removal.

Where is Chick Boss jewelry made?
Chick Boss jewelry is made in the towns of San Andres and San Benito in the state of Peten, Guatemala. Our custom caps and magnets are made by Guatemalan jewelers throughout the country. In time, we hope to move all of this work to the town of San Andres.
Is Chick Boss a non-profit organization?
Chick Boss is a for-profit company that exists for the purpose of hiring and training people who would otherwise be considered unemployable due to their lack of education and work experience. We transition them from poverty and the cash based economy to tax paying members of society with health and retirement benefits. We pay our workers three times the minimum hourly wage and train them to produce high quality products desirable by women throughout the developed world. Our model increases the costs of production due to our higher labor rates and slower time to production. The higher costs are shared equally by Chick Boss shareholders who expect lower than industry average margins, and customers who appreciate the value of the work we are doing.
